One of our best family days out this year, a trip to Bedruthan Steps – a 20 minute drive from Bodrean. Beautiful Bedruthan has it all, the views, great walks and if you can make it down (and back up) the 142 steep steps onto the beach you can enjoy miles of sand and crystal clear waters – we could have been in the Carribean! The boys (including Andy) took a look in the rock pools and the girls and I lazed about in the sun before dipping our toes in the sea, which quickly cooled us down. Finally we had lunch at the National Trust cafe, not to be missed the Ploughmans and Huntsmans salads were huge, fresh and delicious topped off with a Callestick IceCream of course. Don’t foget your National Trust card for the car park.
Based near Truro in the heart of Cornwall, Bodrean is a place where you can relax and unwind in peace. Set in beautiful Cornish countryside, with views of rolling hills and woodland, our 3 bed and breakfast rooms and 3 holiday lets are run by myself, Michele (a keen cook with a passion for gardening) and my husband Andy (a farmer).
Bodrean is a special place to stay whether for a weekend break or longer vacation.
